My name is Ivan Ewert, which helps explain the sitename and address. I was born in the upper Midwest and haven’t really left yet for any appreciable length of time. I’m married to a wonderful woman and fellow-artist who designs amazing jewelry. I have no kids, no pets, and not much desire to add either to the mix.
I do a great deal of creative work – the majority of my income is in web design, but I also manage to do graphic design, freelance writing and editing, content creation and some small levels of performance as well as dabbling in tabletop game design. A good deal of it is also volunteer-oriented, since I believe it’s important to be of service to the community and one’s friends.
In the past I’ve been scattered around the web, as you can see by the number of Alter Egos to the right. This is the blog that tries to act as a launching pad to centralize my creative and professional endeavors, and hopefully, it’ll see a lot of use in the coming months and years.
